To switch to GNOME Shell, just go to Terminal and type: gnome-shell --replace or choose it at logon.

Just
download the iso file and burn it using nero.Then boot your cd and wait
until it is loaded and click Live Installer icon on the desktop. Enter
the root password and follow the wizard.The root password is "root".
